Patent practice in Europe and the United States is changing rapidly — and so are the strategic choices facing Japanese companies. The 2026 CPPC will give you a focused, practice-oriented update on the developments that matter most for prosecution, litigation and portfolio management on both sides of the Atlantic.

Across two compact seminar days, experienced practitioners from Europe, the United States and Japan will translate recent case law, procedural trends and market developments into practical guidance for daily IP work. Topics will range from AI and software inventions, claim drafting, validity and claim construction to UPC practice, PTAB and reexamination trends, ITC developments, SEP/FRAND issues, provisional measures, forum strategy, damages, litigation funding and global monetization.

The seminar is designed to connect recent developments with the questions that arise in practice: how portfolios can be strengthened, key markets protected, rights enforced effectively and European and U.S. strategies brought into line.
